Jack Antonoff Wins Grammy Award as Producer of the Year

Jack Antonoff took home Producer of the Year honors at the 2023 Grammy Awards for his work on Florence and the Machine’s Dance Fever, the soundtrack to Minions: The Rise Of Gru, Taylor Swift’s “All Too Well,” Diana Ross’s “I Still Believe” and The 1975’s “Part Of The Band.”  It was his second straight year of winning that particular honor in the non-classical category. The Bergenfield native has now won seven career statuettes.

Unfortunately, America didn’t get to see him get up and accept the award. In fact, all America saw last Sunday was almost four hours of mind-numbing glitzy pop music as such legends as Ozzy with Tony Iommi, Taj Mahal with Ry Cooder, Edgar Winter, Wayne Shorter, Arturo O’Farrill, Ruben Blades and Aaron Neville were relegated to the pre-telecast,  apparently not important enough to make it on TV.
