Long Out-Of-Print Hoboken Classic To Be Re-Released

The Delmore Recording Society will re-release and re-master Tricycle, the long out-of-print 1994 Wild Carnation debut with bassist/vocalist Brenda Sauter of The Feelies, guitarist Rich Barnes and drummer/vocalist Chris O’Donovan of Grey District. The limited 500-copy pressing on white vinyl will be ready by Record Store Day April 22. Six days later, the album will be available digitally, complete with a raucous 1997 live set from Germany where the band covers Patti Smith, the late Canadian folksinger Ian Tyson and The Grass Roots. The Wild Carnation sound is more Reckoning-era R.E.M. than anything by The Feelies. The discovery of this Hoboken classic stands tall as a rare archeological find.
