Ted Chubb Quintet

The New Jersey Jazz Society continues “The Jazz Series” at Our Lady of Consolation Church on 1799 Hamburg Turnpike in Wayne, in partnership with the Wayne Public Library, on a Sunday afternoon, May 17, at 4:00, with The Ted Chubb Quintet—Ted Chubb, trumpet; Bruce Williams, alto sax; Oscar Perez, piano; Tom DiCarlo, bass, Jerome Jennings, drums. The event will also be live-streamed. It’s the third of six such concerts, the first being Abraham Burton’s band March 22, followed by The Sunhouse Singers April 26. Future shows include The Next Wave Jazz Orchestra featuring Caelan Cardello and Jonny Gittings on September 13, Vanderlei Pereira & Blindfold Test on October 18 and The Jazz Women on November 15. These free concerts are made possible, in part, by a grant administered by the Passaic County Cultural & Heritage Council from funds allocated by the New Jersey State Council of the Arts.
