New Jazz Club Opens In Teaneck

Aaron Johnson Quartet

“Live Jazz Every Night” proclaims its website. Open 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., Brvsh Cul7ur3 (pronounced Brush Culture), 482 Cedar Lane in Teaneck, will offer dinner, drinks and more affordable prices than Manhattan clubs. It’s the brain-child of Camden native Rodney Green, who told Marsha A. Stoltz of  northjersey.com that he’s “hoping to do all kinds of jazz, jazz brunches, jazz for kids…and a jazz festival next summer.” Green is also a musician, having backed up Patti  Labelle  at her Philadelphia club, Chez LaBelle, on drums.
