Palmyra Delran Pops Up On New Dan Miraldi Song

Dan Miraldi

Princeton-born Palmyra Delran is part of the new “Magic In The Air” (Little Steven’s Wicked Cool Records) by Dan Miraldi. “I like to leave interpretation to the listener,” Miraldi says, “but to me, it’s about finding joy in everyday life. The world can get you down, but every now and then something mundane can feel miraculous and empowering. Sometimes you really have to wrestle with songs but this one felt pretty effortless.

“When I was writing the song,” he continues, “I could hear Palmyra’s voice singing it. Having her actually on the recording is extremely special. She’s so talented and has been a constant source or encouragement for me. The spirit of rock’n’roll burns strong at Wicked Cool. They respect the genre’s history but have an eye on its future. I have incredible admiration for Steven Van Zandt—not just as a musician, but as an activist. I’m happy to be here.”

Miraldi, originally from Cleveland, lives in New York City. He’s released 16 records in 17 years. Palmyra Delran doesn’t mind her music being called “Trash Pop.” We first encountered her in July of 2024. She’s also a DJ on Sirius/XM’s “Underground Garage.”
