Paramus Metal Hero Dan Lorenzo Resurfaces with New Patriarchs In Black Cover Record

Patriarchs In Black Covered In Black

Guitarist-Composer Dan Lorenzo, from Paramus, founding member of Hades, Non-Fiction and Patriarchs In Black (who also partnered with Overkill’s Bobby Blitz in The Cursed) has announced the December 15 release of an all-covers EP from Brutal Planet Records called Covered In Black. His partner in musical mayhem, drummer Johnny Kelly (Type Of Negative, Danzig, Quiet Riot and Silvertomb), will pound the skins on Twisted Sister’s “Destroyer,” Peter Gabriel’s “Games Without Frontiers,” KISS’s “Rock Bottom,” Motorhead’s “The Chase Is Better Than The Catch,” Led Zeppelin’s “Friends” and the lone original, “My Veneration.” (There will be different lead singers and bassists for each song.)
