Paramus metal band Patriarchs In Black has completed its third album. Guitarist Dan Lorenzo of Hades and Non-Fiction with drummer Johnny Kelly of Type Of Negative, Danzig and Quiet Riot have always used different vocalists and bassists. Their third album, Visioning, comes out July 19. Returning singers include Karl Agell (Corrosion Of Conformity), Mark Sunshine (Unida) and Darryl Matthews McDaniels (also known as DMC from the groundbreaking rap act Run-DMC).

The first single, “What Do They Know,” with Mark Sunshine, is out (you can hear it below.) Iron Lou is on bass (from the great state of Maryland). Other bassists on the album are Dave Neabore from Dog Eat Dog and Eric J. Morgan from A Pale Horse Named Death.

When asked about collaborating with DMC, the internationally known hip-hop star, Lorenzo explains, “he asked me to write the music to two songs off his next solo album. He’s one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, a fact I learned when he sang on our second single, `Welcome To Hell Again.’

“I’m really excited about this album,” Lorenzo adds, “and I’m already writing and recording the next one.”
