Patriarchs In Black Complete Third Album
Paramus metal band Patriarchs In Black has completed its third album. Guitarist Dan Lorenzo of Hades and Non-Fiction with drummer Johnny Kelly of Type Of Negative, Danzig and Quiet Riot have always used different vocalists and bassists. Their third album, ‘Visioning,’ comes out July 19.
Legendary Rapper Darryl “DMC” McDaniels Joins Patriarchs In Black for ‘Veneration’
The new single from Paramus metal mainstays Patriarchs In Black, “Veneration,” will come out digitally August 25. Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative/Quiet Riot) and Dan Lorenzo (Hades/Non-Fiction) are joined on the track by rapper Darryl “DMC” McDaniels from historic hip-hop heroes Run DMC, vocalist Mark Sunshine, violinist Emma Smoler and bassist Anthony Vitti.
Patriarchs In Black Cover Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song”
Patriarchs In Black—former Type O Negative drummer Johnny Kelly and founding Hades/Non-Fiction guitarist-composer Dan Lorenzo—have released their second Zep cover this year. “Immigrant Song” has the Paramus riff-master Lorenzo churning out that familiar riff.
