Sinatra Tribute Tonight!

Sinatra Tribute

Ryan Keberle’s Big-Band Living Legacy Project, a 15-piece Jazz Orchestra, with pianist Adam Birnbaum, will be the house band for an evening of Sinatra as performed by Broadway stars Matt Doyle (a Tony Award-winner for his role in Company), Hilary Kole (who co-created and co-starred in the off-Broadway production of “Our Sinatra” which ran for 1,300 performances), Max Von Essen (a Tony nominee for An American In Paris), John Lloyd Young (Tony winner for Jersey Boys) and Andre De Shields (from Hadestown who has a Tony, a Grammy and an Emmy on his bookshelf at home). The all-star 7:00 p.m. tribute will take place at Hunter College’s Kaye Playhouse on 68th Street between Park and Lexington in Manhattan TONIGHT. Entitled “Frank Sinatra: From Band Singer to Icon,” the show will concentrate on material that the skinny kid from Hoboken first started singing when he fronted the big-bands of Harry James and Tommy Dorsey.
