Thus, we were hipped to P-Funk North, a band out of North Plainfield in Somerset County that fuses reggae, funk and rock’n’roll in a fun-filled, freewheeling festival of freaky alternative pop-musik. They’ve been around for 13 years as started by bassist-vocalist Dave Sloyan.
