U.L.T.R.A.S. Makes Music For Music’s Sake Alone

U.L.T.R.A.S.

It’s all about the sound for Hudson County jammers U.L.T.R.A.S. (The band name stands for Universe Less Traveled Reveals Authentic Self.) These boys are constantly pushing their craft’s boundaries in zigzag ways, thus, their circuitous route is half the fun. Recorded live, as a unit, without overdubs or tracking, their unique presentation emphasizes exploratory forays into the unknown. Their experimentation is what keeps their music alive and humming right along with a minimum of pretense. They say you gotta see them live to truly appreciate them. Expect the unexpected. “We keep listeners on their toes,” they say. Talk about originality! The enjoyment one receives from what they’re puttin’ down, depends how curious the ear is. Cut the hair out your ear and let this sound flow right to the brain. It’ll surprise you. “By experiencing our music,” they say, “you’ll fundamentally alter how you view music to gain the most.”
