We’re All Going To Be Dancing The Post-Apocalypso Soon

The newest discovery of Stevie Van Zandt’s Wicked Cool Records is The Bayonets from Los Angeles:  Lucrecia Lopez Sanz, Brian Ray and Oliver Leiber (whose dad was one-half of the legendary Leiber/Stoller songwriting team who wrote almost every great song of the 1950s). With help from members of the bands of Chris Robinson, Tom Waits and Elvis Costello, the album is Crash Boom Bang. The follow-up to their “Argentina” single is “Post Apocalypso” and we love it. “It’s about romance in a world gone mad,” says Brian Ray.
