Mike Delevante
“The Rain Never Came”
The Delevantes formed in Hoboken, moved to Nashville, and were produced by E Streeter Garry Tallent. Now Mike Delevante steps out solo. “The Rain Never Came” shows the seasoned songwriter leaning into reflective Americana with quiet strength.
Dave Stryker
“Blue Fire”
When West Orange guitarist Dave Stryker, Englewood organist Jared Gold and drummer McClenty Hunter entered the hallowed halls of Van Gelder Studio in Englewood Cliffs—where so many jazz classics were recorded—their sense of history was profound. The result is one of Stryker’s strongest albums in years.

Bettye LaVette
“Sooner Or Later”
That voice. It sends shivers up the spine. Bettye LaVette delivers “Sooner Or Later” with the emotional authority only a lifetime in soul music can bring.
The Cucumbers
“There’s A Crop Circle On My Daddy’s Land”
From the new Cucumbers project As You Heard Me: Songs from “Hello George”, these Hoboken favorites prove once again that wit and melody never go out of style.
Two Point Oh
“Jackie Smile”
Half Boonton, half Brooklyn, Two Point Oh may rehearse in Morris County, but their ambition stretches far beyond it. One look at the “Jackie Smile” video says it all. Rock stars of the future? We think so.
