“World Apart”
Does South Jersey singer-songwriter David Lawrence Osterhout really feel a “World Apart”? He performs as Bike Routes and his Rush Of Energy EP is due later this month on the 25th. It’s an upbeat alt-pop jam that references an ‘80s vibe as well as a post-hardcore vibe. Osterhout says it “captures the listener with pinpoint aggression towards the mundane motions of everyday life, tackling existential dread and the desire to start anew.”
Richard Barone
“All Fall Down”
There are no Bongos in composer-arranger-author-director-producer-singer-educator-DJ Richard Barone’s new video with Darryl McDaniels, more commonly known as DMC from the legendary rap band Run DMC. Barone helped create the Hoboken scene and his appearance in The Jersey Sound documentary proved to be one of the favorite moments in the film for a lot of folks.

“These Days”
Jackson Browne wrote the profound sentiment of this song when he was a teenager. Hoboken chanteuse Tammy Faye Starlite wrings every last drop of pathos out of Browne’s words.
