Vakili Band
“Tannersville”

Montclair Singer-Songwriter Lily VakiliI:  “I can tell you about `Tannersville’ and the making of this video, but the telling probably won't capture all the variation in place, mood, and tools available to me at any given time. I created it out of archival footage I filmed at my parents' place. I had set it aside years ago, filing it in a mental place that I'd visit every so often. As I began thinking about visual imagery for the `Tannersville song,’ a memory of the rusted-out vehicle behind my dad's workshop came to me. I felt as if I had tricked my own self by filming these images years ago only to finally find a home for them with `Tannersville.’ I hope you like it.
