Dave Stryker
"Waiting For Ruby"
We hail West Orange guitarist Dave Stryker as right up there with such jazz guitar legends as Bucky Pizzarelli, Charlie Christian, Charlie Byrd, Django Reinhardt, Stephane Wrembel, Joe Pass, George Benson, Grant Green, Pat Martino, Kenny Burrell, Al Di Meola, Pat Metheny, Barney Kessel, Jim Hall and Wes Montgomery. This is the second video from Blue Fire: The Van Gelder Session.
Starikova
"Phantasm"
They're now a power trio. John, Nini and Tyler still rock out. "Phantasm" is off their 2024 You Already Know EP. Filmed at their hometown Mud House in New Brunswick, edited by Jacob Productions, it shows the joyous reckless fun-filled abandon that goes on during a Starikova show.

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band
"War" and "Born In The USA"
The first two songs on the first stop of the current politically-charged tour were performed in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Thurston Moore & Bonner Kramer
"Urn Burial"
Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore has teamed up with longtime New Jersey iconoclast Bonner Kramer for this track off their new collaboration album They Came Like Swallows—Seven Requiems for the Children of Gaza. Bonner has produced 370 artists and owns Shimmy-Disc Records.
The Klezmatics
"Plane Wreck at Los Gatos (Deportee)"
The words and music of America's greatest folksinger, Woody Guthrie—who lived late in life in New Jersey—were never more relevant. Eighty years after he wrote it, New York City's Klezmatics, who specialize in the traditional folk strain of Eastern European Jews called Klezmer, take Woody's classic protest song to worldbeat heights.
Mike Greenblatt

MIKE GREENBLATT has been writing for Goldmine magazine and New Jersey's Aquarian Weekly for more than 35 years. His writing subjects fill the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
