Meet… Strawberry Milk

Strawberry Milk

Strawberry Milk is a college band out of Princeton that’s been gigging steadily for the last three years. Inspired by Genesis, Rush, Sting, the Dave Matthews Band, R.E.M., John Mayer and The Killers, despite the rather 180-degree parameters of the aforementioned, the sound fits into their Strawberry Milk blender and comes out whimsical and fresh. The sound’s textural adherence to alt-rock exists in a sweet spot somewhere between punk, singer-songwriter angst, jazz-rock fusion and even bluegrass. And they wear cool socks.

They’ve been holed up in their safe space on campus furiously writing and recording. The result is their first song, “Katherine the Great,” to be followed by “Messy Masterpiece.” Ultimately, when their debut album is released, it will be called In The Zoo. Toussaint Santicola Jones plays bass, sings lead and writes the songs.
