2023 Shaping Up To Be A Big Year For Hoboken’s Yo La Tengo

Yo La Tenga The Stupid World

Hoboken alt-rockers Yo La Tengo will release their new album February 10 on Matador Records. The aptly-named This Stupid World will be supported by a national tour starting February 15 in Seattle.  “Fallout” and “Aselestine” are the first two singles.

It’s been three years since Yo La Tengo’s last album, the mighty We Have Amnesia Sometimes. Besides the 2020 Sleepless Night EP and the re-release of 1995’s Electr-O-Pura and 1997’s I Can Hear The Heart Beating As One, Yo La Tengo also jammed with David Byrne last year on Yoko Ono’s “Who Has Seen The Wind.”
