Jame Minogue Releases Cumbia-Style Kylie Minogue Cover

Jame Minogue—from Perth Amboy in Middlesex County—has always cross-pollinated Latin genres with a magician’s flair. The Dominican-Irish singer, known for his adventurous world-brew of funk, pop, rock and the folkloric Afro-Columbia strain known as Cumbia, has always been asked if he’s related to pop star Kylie Minogue. He doesn’t know but his cover of Kylie’s “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head,” in a Cumbia format, is tantalizing, irresistible and could make a dead man dance.
