Trey Anastasio Announces Tour

He might’ve been born in Texas but Trey Anastasio, 58, moved to Princeton when he was three years old. From Phish and Oysterhead to Ghosts Of The Forest and The Trey Anastasio Band, this renaissance man has performed, recorded and written in rock, classical and theatrical circles. He’s collaborated with Dave Matthews, Herbie Hancock, Grateful Dead, Santana and BB King. His compositions have been performed by symphony orchestras.

Now he’s on tour.

The Baltimore and Asbury Park shows are already sold out. The Trey Anastasio Band will be in Denver June 9-11, Massachusetts July 8, Bethel NY August 20, Indianapolis Sept. 9-10, Canada Sept. 13, East Aurora NY Sept. 16 and Connecticut Sept. 30. More dates are to follow.

MIKE GREENBLATT has been writing for Goldmine magazine and New Jersey's Aquarian Weekly for more than 35 years. His writing subjects fill the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

He's interviewed Joe Cocker, Graham Nash, David Crosby, Carlos Santana, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Johnny Cash, and members of The Rolling Stones and The Beatles. He was 18 when he attended Woodstock in 1969.

In addition to writing about music, Greenblatt has worked on publicity campaigns for The Animals, Pat Benatar, Johnny Winter, Tommy James and Richard Branson, among others. He is currently the editor of The Jersey Sound.
